Hey hey Glendonites, DJs and music lovers, some updates from the crew at RG.

As we head into reading week, there are still some good time slots available for anyone interested in spinning some music, voicing their opinions, or anything else that works in audio. If you're interested, send an e-mail to cat@radioglendon.com and sign up. Check the schedule page for available times.

Any current DJs who want some extra training/practice in the booth are encouraged to come in for an informal training sesh any Monday (after reading week) between noon and 1PM.

Salut à tous! Frosh Week and the start of the 2009-2010 academic year is just around the corner—it's September already?—which means that CKRG is due to resume broadcast in just a few short weeks.

Any students or community members interested in becoming involved at CKRG this year are invited to send a show request to cat@ckrgfm.com. Please include a few brief words about what kind of show you are interested in doing, and your preferred time slots.

Returning DJs are invited to do so as well!

Whooa, been a while, gang. First off, Happy New Year.

Some official important business:

Sick of the strike? Come down to CKRG on Wednesday January 28th! Starting at 5pm we'll be broadcasting non-stop until Thursday at midnight. Sign up for 15 minute slots by emailing joseph@ckrgfm.com. Play some music, air your grievances, or just come and hang out. Our offices will be open the entire time, and we'll be providing snacks and drinks for all who participate. Check it out!

The Listen Live! section has now been added! You can tune into CKRG from your computer using a myriad of listening options. Also, you can find out more about the station by clicking on the big "CKRG Radio Glendon" speech bubble.

Welcome to the new CKRG website - the schedule page will be updated when showtimes are set, which should be in a week or so. If you want to apply to host a show, download the application PDF (you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader, download it here). Print it, fill it out and drop it off at the CKRG office, or e-mail it to Joe or Siobhan.

Aside from that, the site will be getting continual updates & upgrades from yours truly, but if you find any problems, drop me a line.

Welcome to our new website! This is the new face of CKRG Radio Glendon. This year we're starting things off right; we'll be at glendon all week during frosh helping out with events and doing orientation sessions. We're really cool so you should feel free to come and say hi!

We're in the process of looking for a FIRST YEAR REPRESENTATIVE for our station. so, if you're in first year, bilingual, love music and want to get involved on campus,this could be a great opportunity for you. You'll get access to new music, glendon events, get experience in radio, and get to hang out with the CKRG executive power team.

All you need to do is send an email to siobhan@ckrgfm.com with your resume and tell us a little bit about yourself. Selected applicants will be notified for an interview a.s.a.p. so let us know if you're interested!

CKRG is getting ready to kick off its broadcast year by revamping our logo and website, helping with frosh/orientation week, and accepting applications for new shows!

if you're interested in doing a show, we'd love to hear from you. we're looking for talk shows, music shows, des programmes en francais, comedy shows, or just about any other form you can think up. all you need to do is fill out an application form, choose your time slot, and join us for our DJ orientation sessions during the first week of september.
